I Do It!

Ellie has this need for everything to be done a certain way. She will only allow us to help her when she asks for it. If we try to interfere or help her before she asks, she will usually say "I do it!" This phrase (along with "Mine" and "All Mine") seems to be her favorite lately.

Mom has been having trouble getting good smiles lately. She'll say "show me your teeth" or "smile" and this is what she gets. More of a grimace than a smile, if you ask me.

Erin and Ellie enjoy playing with the kitchen set (aprons and everything). As long as Erin follows Ellie's rules, they have fun.

We got the walker down from the attic yesterday. Owen will outgrow it before he develops the motor skills necessary to use it.

Of course, Ellie has to show Owen how to play with this toy as well.
