It has been a busy, busy week in our house. We have decided that we are not ready for three kids, or at least we aren't ready to bring another two year old into our family! Even though Ellie is two, she is still very much a baby, therefore we had 3 babies all week long. Night time was a little rough on both Daniel and I. There was always one child making the night a little difficult.
Besides the lack of sleep and a little bit of mommy missing from Kyra, it was nice to get to know my niece more and wonderful for the two girls to play together.... They loved it!
Here is Ellie feeding her baby. I guess this is one of the joys of nursing your children... your older children want to nurse their own babies.
Yesterday, Mister Owen only slept like an hour during the day. I sure hope this isn't the start of something new. I don't think so since he has already taken a two hour nap this morning.
Here is Elise sliding down the slide. She has a pool in the backyard with a slide. This is a good distraction from her constant want she has to go to Chuck E. Cheese. Whenever we drive anywhere now she thinks we are on our way to Chuck E. Cheese and is always disappointed at our actual destination.
Having her cousin around has made Ellie kind of bossy. She thinks it is her responsibility to tell Kyra what to do or what she is not doing right. My mom says this is a natural attribute of oldest children. Luckily, my oldest daughter is also a very sweet big sister and loves to give Owen lots of kisses and play with him. Turns out she is also very protective.
Here is Owen ALMOST crawling. He has been almost crawling for awhile now, but he is now going from a sitting position to the all fours position. So, we have a little movement happening.
Daniel has been quite busy getting his prelims finished. He said today that he was about done with the paper but needs to work more on the presentation. I think it has been kind of stressing him out having his deadline so close. However, I think he is making good progress and will certainly be finished on time.
As for me, I have been busy organizing the preschool this fall. We have several interested people. Our group is complete, but because of more people being interested, it is possible we might need to split the group. It has been fun organizing it. I hope it will work out!

The mini family reunion must have been a big hit with the kids. They look so happy!
Owen is growing up so fast that it's hard to believe he only 6 months old.
It's nice to see that Daniel is still reading to Ellie. Twenty years from now, I am sure he will be so glad he did that. It's clear that she loves it and I hope he does too. Some of my most precious memories include reading to Daniel.
Thanks for taking the time to post these pictures. I love you and miss you.
Love,
Grandpa Weber
