Owen- 18 months

Since I will be in the hospital on Owen's 18 month mark, I thought I would take a minute and write about my little man. I will write about Ellie and turning 3 a little bit later.
Owen is seriously the best kid ever. Sure he loves to climb, run and get into things he shouldn't, but he is very evenly tempered and is just such a sweetheart.
Here are a few milestones I want to record:
At 18 months, Owen is proficient at running, jumping, can almost do a somersault and is quite coordinated when it comes to climbing. For the most part he knows how risky he can be without hurting himself.
Owen is a fairly independent kid. He doesn't mind playing on his own, but really enjoys it when his big sister gets involved. He also loves his cuddle time with his parents.
Owen needs sleep. Whether he gets the full amount of sleep one night or not, he seems to always make up for it at some point.
Owen is really starting to increase his vocabulary, especially in the past month. A few of the new words he has learned recently are, "pull, potty, pool, Toby, chair, juice, cheese, car, bye bye, Ellie, Uncle, 'get down' ( a personal favorite since we tell him to get down so often), shoes".
I'll have to record his weight at a later time when we go to the pediatrician, but Owen is a big boy. He looks like a two year old.
Mostly with this post I want to record for my children to be able to read later. I want Owen to know how much I love him and how much better I am for him. He is a delight and a wonderful addition to our family. I know that while Owen might be a little rough with his little sister at first, he will also probably be very sweet to her and show her how to do all sorts of things. I always wondered what it would be like to have an older brother and I am so happy that Maggie will be able to experience it. Happy 1 1/2 birthday baby boy!

Owen is such a big boy I forget that he's only a couple weeks older than Keaton! Yea for nursery...I am so excited for Keaton to go but I'm sure I'll miss him when he goes. :)

Lot's of fun posts! Max went to nursery on Sunday for the first time too. It was really hard on me but Max had a blast. Your kids are so cute. Can't wait to see how cute Maggie will be.
