Trip to the Pool

The community pool finally opened today. So, we loaded up the children and spent the evening at the pool... we didn't dare take our pastey white children in the middle of the day.

Ellie and Uncle Evan swimming together (and Owen and Dad in the background). Ellie really liked swimming on her own.The slide was the big hit. We didn't think she was going to be able to go down the slide, but the lifeguard said she could go. She had a blast and can't wait to go down it again.

Mags came too. She has a bit of jaundice so we needed to get her outside anyway, so we brought her along. There weren't a lot of people at the pool and no one came near her. She slept the entire time!

Oh yeah, we're sick. Well, Ellie was sick earlier this week, then it went to my mom and now Daniel and Owen have it and my throat is feeling scratchy. It's starting to get to the point where we aren't really surprised-- it seems like we always have our children in the midst of chaos!
