Day 1- SEA WORLD

On our first day in San Antonio, we checked into our hotel and then went to Sea World.

The kids jumping on the hotel bed. Sleeping didn't really happen much at the hotel but we enjoyed our stay nonetheless. The kids really loved swimming in the pool and they had a yummy breakfast buffet in the morning.
Ellie goofing around before the first Sea Lion show.

Here is Owen... he was sooo thirsty this trip! He sucked on this straw about half the time we were at Sea World. I think he just thought the Shamu cup we bought was pretty cool.

Here is Ellie in front of the dolphin tank. She thought it was pretty neat how they came right up to the sides, but she wouldn't ever touch them. She was too scared.
Ellie watching the dolphins.
Owen playing while mom stood in the endless lunch line.
More playing.
Here are Daniel and Ellie on the Shamu Express roller coaster! I thought this picture was pretty funny so I had to get it. Daniel sure looks like he is having fun, but Ellie... that is another story. Actually, she went on this roller coaster 5 or 6 times. I think it was a mix of fear and fun-- just as a roller coaster should be. At first they measured her at the measuring station and said she was just under the 38" line and gave her a bracelet that said she wasn't tall enough. But, when we were just out of their sight, mom ripped off the bracelet and when they measured her at the ride, they let her on.
Watching the show.

Owen pointing out the fish. He really loved the fish tanks... I think because he got to get out of the stroller.

This was just an area where the kids could go run around. Owen loved it and spent quite a bit of time in there.Ellie's favorite... the sharks!
