I am getting so excited for next week. We are having our little family vacation (well, we are going to San Antonio) for a few days. It should be a lot of fun, I just hope the weather cooperates. These kinds of trips are nice because it forces me to get my house in order. I really would like to do a few things around the house that never get done... for example, my walls need a good scrubbing and a few rooms need some carpet cleaning. Now since I have written it, maybe I will be more inclined to do it.
A couple pictures of the kids last night:

Owen chowing down on dinner. He loves the corn. Notice he has a spoon available to him, but just opts not to use it. He gets more in his mouth when he shoves it in fists full.

It seems these days that Ellie is a big fruit lover. This night we cut up our first watermelon of the year and she really loves watermelon. Usually I keep a container of fruit in the fridge and she just goes in on her own and grabs pieces for herself. Her favorites are cantelope and grapes.

After my previous post about all the funny stuff Ellie says, I should mention how Owen actually does a lot of funny stuff. He is a cute little dancer, loves to climb and is pretty cute running around the house. Owen also spends quite a bit of time standing by the back door in hopes that he will be let outside. Unfortunately for the kids, yesterday was a very cold and wet day so we stayed in all day long. Hopefully today will be better for them.

He is all boy and was using this shirt to swing around and swat his sister... awww, siblings. Notice the kitchen chairs ON the table. They cannot be brought down or Owen will be standing on the table within 10 seconds. --- Like I said he is pretty fun to have around and is always entertaining Daniel and I. Every night he is doing something funny and cute.

Some more pictures of Ellie posing. She is really into that stage and it has been very difficult to get an authentic picture of her. Oh well.

These days Ellie has been keeping busy with preschool, gymnastics and ballet. She has especially been enjoying the gymnastics and has a little crush on her teacher, Ryan. She is always giving him hugs. She is the smallest child there so all of the instructors are always helping her out and picking her up and playing with her. She is so darn cute in her leotards that I can hardly stand it! I think she will stick with gymnastics for awhile but I will probably opt for ballet at the community center next year since she hasn't been as interested in that and now that she will be old enough it should be a lot cheaper.

I wish I could get Aidan to eat that much food. I consider it a good day if he eats a whole cheeseburger! Or more than a few "bites" of peas or pineapple.
your kids are too cute, even with fake smiles :0) I think life around your house must be pretty exciting!
