ERGO

I saw a neighbor of ours using a baby carrier that I really liked. She had a newborn and it looked like she was just wearing a backpack on her front. It looked really comfortable so I asked her about it. She said it's way better than any other carrier she had ever used and it is really supportive. She has used it with her other kids too and said that she was able to use it with them for a long time. Anyway, so I decided to buy the ERGO carrier. I figured with baby #3 I will need to have my hands free. Plus I thought that maybe Owen would be able to use it over our San Antonio trip.

Well, Owen doesn't love it. He is a kid that likes to move around and doesn't like to be restrained. He tolerated it alright and we may give it a shot when we go to San Antonio, but he likely won't use it.

So, here is Daniel and our model, Elise. I guess you can put kids up to 5 years old in it... I wouldn't but Daniel said that it was an easy load. I think he is just so used to hauling around his insanely heavy back pack.

Here it is straight on. Granted, Ellie is a little discombobulated sitting in it, but she seemed to enjoy it. I am anxious to try it on Maggie. I like it mostly because it is an actual carrier and not a sling. I don't think I would do well with a sling.

Here are a couple pictures of the kids:

Owen trying to steal Ellie's sunglasses. I think we might need to get him a pair. He really likes them and since Ellie's sunglasses have flowers on them, I don't think we can have him wear them in good conscience.

Here is Owen playing in the play room. Such a decision... the barbie cup or the car? Guess which he chose! Lately his favorite place to play with his cars is on our tv stand which drives Daniel nuts. Mostly because Owen likes to bang his cars on it.

Ellie showing off her sunglasses... which by the way, match her pants. She thinks that is pretty neat.
